PR50
The PR50 is the new beast in town, offering superior headroom and gigging capability over the PR35 in the same size and weight configuration!
We took our much-loved PR35 and turned up the power. Gone is the Tremolo circuit to make room for the huge output section found in the larger 50w amps, making this little amplifier sing at volumes not usually found in the 20" x 16.5" format.
A full three-band EQ ensures full control over your tone, and we've added a Dwell control to the Reverb circuit to help dial-in your sound.
Concerned that 50w is too much? Don't worry, a half-power switch comes as standard on this model.
The PR range of amplifiers are inspired by the look and sounds of small-box American amplifiers coming out of
California in the late 50s and 60s.
Each model delivers the power output that their names suggest, from a studio friendly 6w right up to a 50w gigging monster.
This is the ultimate amp for valve purists who want natural overdrive, vintage spring reverb
Your amplifier can be ordered with a choice of '64 Black or '63 Brown preamps in matching tolex
The '64 Black preamp has a chimey, full frequency range that won't overdrive until higher volumes, while the '63 Brown adds more midrange punch, warmth, and reins in highs.
