The Tweed 5TV is the second 'TV front' amplifier to join my lineup. Inspired by the first tweed covered Princeton amplifier, the 5A2, this circuit is entirely useable today as it was back on the late 40s.

The circuit inself is quite simple, with just two stages of 6SL7 based amplification before the power valve and a basic yet effective VOLUME and TONE setup. No instruction manual needed with this one, just plugin, turn it up, and play!

Unlike the original amplifier, I've opted for an oversized cabinet allowing for either an 8" or 10" speaker to be fitted.. You can also choose to order the Tweed 5TV in a larger cabinet, allowing a 12" speaker to be fitted.
